Amazon Fire TV Optical Out for music streamer

is there a way to get hi res or lossless audio formats out of a optical output on an Amazon Fire TV with a Tidal App or Plex Media Server? Or is there a media streamer that can run my TV and still has quality USB or toslink sound output, possibly Nvidia Shield? i am currently using a SMSL M500 DAC, https://apos.audio/products/smsl-m500-mqa-amp-dac,  but i feel like i am not getting the most out of because of signal coming in.
