Newbie on Audiocircle

Hi All,

I found the forum today while awaiting an email back from Jeff Glowacki at Soniccraft.  I am putting together my first passive x-overs for my Magnepan MGIIIa's which were damaged in a basement flood.  I tore out the guts and re-framed them in an aluminum frame with the ribbon tweeter mounted to the side of each frame.  I am in the finishing stages of using acoustic treatments in my dual purpose home theater and listening room after spending approx $30K in construction.

For home theater, it is Jamo speakers driven by an Anthem MRX1120 circa 2020.  Sub-woofers are Velodyne FSR-18 circa 1996 and Martin Logan Dynamo 600x circa 2020.  Acoustic treatment by GIK Acoustics, Sonitus USA, Acoustimac, and Auralex.

My next three purchases for my system will most probably be homemade power cables for all devices followed by a Tube Preamp and mono-block amps sufficient in quality and current for the Maggies.

Cheers from Toledo, Ohio area!
Bill W

Great job! I've heard so much about the Magnepans.
