This driver is ok. My other one that’s done.
Ok... So I should have just known better. I’m looking for a replacement driver, as seen below. This was a AV123 type of setup, I’m hoping to god this is a GR driver at least.

1, 2... Used I would prefer. Sadly one of my surrounds is dry-rotted away. Guessing it was left in sun or what not.

Please help. Thanks. I know this is a looking for type thing, but in here with you all would be the best place. Danny, you happen to have one you would sell?? Or how about those half built units above the capacitors I see one missing a mid!? Lolol. Care to sell?

Looks like one of Danny's M-130 woofers used in the A/V line of speakers. I know the 8ohm versions are out of stock at the moment, but the 16ohm versions are still available.

Is it "done" electrically or you mean because it is because it is "dry rotted"?  If it is dry rotted, you can always get them redone.  If it is a 8 ohm driver and there are just 16 ohm ones, doesn't that change the requirements of the crossovers?

There might be another alternative.

Many speaker companies like Parts-Express, Orange County Speakers and more will recone a dead speaker.  It maybe possible to just replace the voice coil as well if they have the facilities.   If it will be a long time before the replacements are ready, that might be an option instead of new.

Yes, the speaker still function. I’ve re-coned some subs before from Cadence.. But not the smaller drivers. Did not know if they made a kit. Also, been told by folks that it’s not really worth a re-cone. Again I’ll put a photo up. But, just the rubber surround is smoked. Two fine holes, and as I push it to max you can see the cracks. Gosh.. this set really got me! Thank god for the good parts inside.

Thank you all for letting me know. I’ll check the resistance in a few. If I had to guess it’s a 8 ohm. But again, that’s a guess.

S Clark my man.. so, the speakers I could have sworn were 8 ohm... Checking this driver.. it reads about 6 ohms. I found the “specs” took me a minute. But, it’s calling it a 5.8 ohm. So, yes.. I have 8 ohm drivers.

So, I’m going with 8. Lol.

I’ve Been a little quiet, I apologize. Thanks all for your help!
Looking forward to having these done, out the door for the next build. But, I can’t let them go without being 100% right, and well listing to them for a few!
