I've been using my pair of X-LS with my PC in near-field and it's been fantastic!

The AV-1 are a good option too, but the 8-ohm M-130 woofers are sadly still out of stock.

The speaker for use as a computer monitor is the LGK. The LGK 1.0 drivers have been out of stock but the updated LGK 2.0 driver is ready and IIRC, are on their way to Danny. These are hands down the best computer monitor speakers I have heard and they don't take up a lot of desk space.

Their performance without a sub is something to hear. I used them this way for years. I have added a small 10" sealed servo sub under the desk and like them even better.

Oh yeah! I'd forgotten about those.

I definitely want to assemble a pair one of these days.

I use Vanatoo Transparent One speakers.  Seem pretty good and are powered.  The Transparent zero are slightly cheaper, never heard them.
