I'm always on the lookout for a good Danish murder mystery and "The Head" has is all: mysterious characters, extreme isolation, a white landscape and murder most foul.
Ten scientists overwinter at the extremely remote Polaris VI Antarctic Research Station with no access for the 6 month winter. When a small crew arrives in the spring wondering why there hasn't been radio contact for 3 weeks they discover 7 dead, 1 traumatized survivor and 2 missing. The story evolves through real time investigation and flashbacks. At times claustrophobic and tense, you never know who or what committed the murders.
With only 6 - 50 minute episodes the series begs to be binged.
