Any recommendations ? I'm just using the one that came with the hard drive when I bought it.

I've never tried upgrading the USB cable between the HDD and the BDP. Others have and some have reported positive changes.

I do have 2x Audioquest Jitterbug which I've used between HDD and BDP. They make a difference for sure.

(There's also NAS)

If you have the BDA downstream of the BDP I don't think a new cable will add value.   In my uninformed opinion if a computer can copy a terabyte of data from the hard drive without bit errors why would there be bit errors to the BDP?   As far as the noise layer some hard drives can make I believe the BDP and BDA eliminate it before it gets into the audio signal.  Hope this perspective helps!

Cheers,
