New BP-25 owner

Hi Everybody,

I've spent most of my day pouring over all the BP-25 posts here. It was great reading all the comments and familiarizing myself with my new gear. I'm really enjoying my new preamp BP-25 (bought used). Also breaking in some new Totem speakers. So it's a perfect storm of music.

Question...... The BP25 feels warm on the right side of the unit only. I wouldn't be as concerned if it was the entire unit. So are there parts on that side of the unit which make it hotter on that side, or should I be concerned and reaching out to Mike at Bryston ?
Any thoughts you BP25 owners might have would be greatly appreciated.

That heat on the one side is normal.

Cool, I had a feeling it was, but being a new owner just had to make sure. Back to the music..................................

The warm side is where the power circuit is I believe. Mine  has done the same thing for the last 21 years with no problem.
