In full power mode, it operates like any passive speaker driven by an external amplifier except, in this case, the 750W amplifiers are internal.

Yeah Gene, I'm always building something haha...  but my Focus SE keep me sane.

I was asking about these for a local friend who likes my speakers. This is a good deal, especially with the rosewood veneer.

Yes, I very much doubt a current production pair Focus XDs in any finish will ever come up anywhere near this price. Rosewood is one their premium finishes and adds $1k to the base retail price.
