Steampunkish class A & D amplifier DIY stuff

Just for grins thought I’d share an example from my collection of “outside-the-box” class-A and class-D amplifier creations; somewhat unconventional, maybe even impractical, but these function well and sound very refined... This one is a class-A Pass A3-clone dual-mono 30wpc amp w/outboard power supply. Nine 1” square aluminum tubes form a “horizontal chimney” for the forced-air heat-sinking “chassis” substructure. Also added added external fins to further control the fair amount of generated heat. Most of the fun with these is in designing and collecting the needed parts & assembling, then powering up for the first time being a whew-moment payoff
