Just got them in and set up.  Initial impression, they are excellent, work great in my listening room, and are a bargain.

Nice! I ordered these too and will pair with my on order T10 SLR and SET 120. I think I still have 2+ months to wait on the speakers though.

Interested in more impressions when you've had some time with them. :)

I am running my new Salk Songtower II speakers with a SET 120 amp today and the sound is very impressive!  This combination easily fills the room with glorious music.

You are welcome to visit any time, just call first. Any AC members are always welcome here too.

Your SET 120 amp is built and tested.  Just waiting for the preamp which will be a few more days.

OK, here are photos of these great new Salk Songtower 2 speakers playing inboard of my Philharmonic 3 speakers.

They are not identical sounding, of course, but overall the Songtowers are much higher value at less then half the price as they keep up with the Phily 3s except for the lowest bass tones, and even there they are not bass shy, just a bit less ultra deep impact, still very satisfacting.  Overalll they throw a great big image, are very detailed from top to bottom, are very neutral, and have no vices at all.  I am thoroughly enjoying listening to them and there are a great new tool for us to use in our electronics design process.

They work great with our 60W/Ch fantastic SET 120 amplifier and SET 120 Control Amplifier.

Driving them right now in this photo are our Fet Valve CFR preamp, DAC MK 5, and a pair of prototype 225W/Ch differential balanced mono amps based upon our SET circuits. More about these in a couple of months.
