Just finished breaking these in for the last 100 hours after the original owner needed to sell them. I'd say these are the fruitwood & nutmeg finish.

These are pressed "plywood" so there are some voids here and there in the surface due to the inconsistencies in the laminate layers. I've tried to show those in the photos using a dime. That was the largest coin that would fit and in some cases it would not fit into the void. The surface is finished and smooth otherwise.
These are new speakers purchased via Audiogon from one of our own members here. This person had around 200 hours on them and decided that he needed to sell off his stereo due to negative impacts to his business due to the beer virus. We did a meet-up and exchanged the speakers face-to-face so no shipping was required. I finished burning them in and now they are not erratic in their behavior. I was planning to keep them and bought the low powered amp and tubed pre to power them. In the end, my Wilsons turned out to have most of the other boxes checked. I will give up some of the nice things open baffle can provide. I am not making any money on these and am turning and burning them for slightly under what I paid. No physical damage to the speakers or boxes. They are essentially new. I am happy to meet up to save shipping. Have pick-up truck; will travel.
