Putting up for sale a pair of well loved pair of Cain and Cain Super Abby Speakers that I got from Terry Cain years ago for $2k at the time. 

The Good - They are a high sensitivity speaker that were a great match for SET Amps.  I had both a 2A3 amp and a 300B amp that went great with these speakers, especially for acoustic music which is my love.

The Bad - Both Fostex drivers need to be replaced since the silver center cap on the drivers were damaged by little kids wanting to poke them.  I replaced them once with the previous generation drivers ($100 each) from Madisound.  I never got around to doing again since I still had little kids coming to our house and those silver caps were so tempting to poke.  In any case, for ~$200 you can get the Fostex FF165WK or the Fostex FE166NV 6.5" Full Range driver or other drivers.  Replacing them takes 20mins each with a screw driver and soldering gun.  The other bad on the speakers is that there are marks and wood damage to the bottoms of the speakers from dogs.

Anyhow, you get the idea.... I have the original wood crate they shipped in and is included in the sale.  I would really rather NOT ship them if possible.  If you want to research freight companies that is up to you, but I have no idea how much the loaded crate would be with the speakers... and no way to weigh it.

I am asking $400 but definitely open to reasonable offers.  Please message me if interested.
