SET and SET like amps and preamps

First post here, so hello. I've been looking at SETs, Parallel SETs and various hybrids with a bit more power. Any recommendations?

I still really enjoy my Mastersound amp, but there are other options that look interesting on the market as well. I think more info on the speakers would be helpful

I tried Manley 300B SEPP a while back, but I wouldn't recommend it. Compromised design to enable switching between SE and PP.

Border Patrol is great.

For an inexpensive SET-like amp (ie low power, high output impedance) would be a pair of Pass ACA running in bridged or balanced mode. A little di required but the whole point of this amp was to provide something that is easily built (in a day, ay an Amp Camp)

Audio Note Kits (ANK) has a number of different versions of 300b SET amps. The Kit 1 is a stereo amp that can be purchased a couple of different ways depending on transformer and parts options. Then there are the Legend and Interstage Mono block amps. They can be purchased as SET or Parallel SET designs. ANK also offers a build service if you don't want or have the skill to build one.

ANK doesn't offer a SET pre-amp but does offer very good sounding capacitor and transformer coupled pre-amp kits.

I have an upgrade L3 pre and Interstage 300b SE Mono's that I'm very happy with.

Coincident Technology Dynamo 34SE MK3.Very accomplished Integrated.Rated at 8 wpc.Very high current,easily capable of powering 87dB rated speakers.Same firm that produces the famous Frankenstein 300B amps.
