Hello fellow members,

I enjoy listening to good music on good speakers.

My main music / home theatre system consists of a Denon AVR 4806 receiver, OPPO 205 UDP, 2 Paradigm Signature S4 Main Speakers (V1.0), 1 Paradigm Studio Reference CC-590 V.5 Centre Channel and 2 Paradigm Reference Studio 20s as rears and an old Mirage PS90 Sub.

I purchased a pair of Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2s for a small office desk music set up. (MacBook Pro running Tidal through a Dragonfly Cobalt DAC to a Kinter K2020A+ Class T Amp out to the Elacs). Sounds pretty good all things considered :)

While watching various reviews on youtube I discovered GR Research and found the crossover upgrade for these speakers which I am seriously considering buying and installing.

I am a newbie to the inner workings of speakers and speaker building DIY so just trying to learn what I can about it.

I'd also love to build a pair of xls-Encores.

Looking forward to learning here!

Marc

Welcome!

I'd be careful about messing up your nice loudspeakers with DIY upgrades.  And doubt if xls-encores could hold a light to your Paradigms.
