BR2/BR4 Phase button. What is it for?

I can't find anything in the user manuals pertaining to this phase button on the remote. I just ordered a B135 cubed and I am hoping that it will allow me to invert absolute phase 180 degrees. I have noticed a lot of recordings benefit if you can.

AFAIK the Phase button on the BR2 and BR4 remotes is only for the BP26 preamplifier.
