Selling a pair original EgglestonWorks Fontaine Speakers. These rarely come up for sale in the market. They are well liked by their owners.
This pair is gloss black. They are in excellent condition. The sides are made from marble. The speakers are very heavy at 70lbs, and come with the beefiest floor spikes I’ve ever used.
They also come with a set of extra grills and metal triangle tweeter protectors (to protect them from little fingers).
Negatives
Tweeter diaphragm deformed (on 1 speaker)
1 Midrange driver dust cap was pushed in but has since been pushed out. You can see where it was pushed in before.
This doesn’t affect the speakers sound quality. I confirmed this with the manufacturer. Nonetheless it is noteworthy and the price has been adjusted to account for this.

These were manufactured around April 1999 and so are approximately 21 years old.
