For sale is a pair of DCCA Audio ribbon speaker cables. There are 4 separate cable runs (2 per speaker!) Each cable is 2.25” wide. Be forewarned -- these cables are huge and heavy. Together, they weigh a whopping 8.8 lbs. (4 kg). I had these speaker cables custom made in 2014. One run is 12 feet and the other is 10 feet. The copper ribbons are individually wrapped in cotton with a black cloth covering. The reason I kept them so long is because they’re extremely good sounding cables. I replaced them primarily to try something new.
These cables have a DIY appeal to them, so if you’re looking for a wife-friendly option, this ain’t it. These are the off-road, pickup truck version of speaker cables. Attached to the speaker ends are male tube connectors with very thick, stranded bare wire on the amp ends. The buyer should know that typical bananas or spades are too small. I used screw-type banana plugs because I had some laying around. I can include 2 pair of them if you wish, although higher quality connectors would be more suitable.
The photos don’t represent just how massive these speaker cables are. They’re too long and unwieldy to photograph stretched out, so I zip tied them to make them easier to handle.
