Audial Model S USB TDA1541 DAC
« on: 20 Jul 2020, 08:08 pm »
SOLD

A Wyred Recovery reclocker is included in the price.

Selling my Model DAC only because I need other inputs besides USB. With NOS and R2R conversion, the sound is organic, dense, natural, and dimensional. You can listen all day with no fatigue. Music flows out of this thing. Instruments, like strings, pianos, and voices, sound natural, as they do in real life. The designer, Pedja Rogic, has probably squeezed more performance out of the  TDA 1541 chip than anyone on the planet. Built like a tank, with huge power supplies, weighing around 23 pounds. Makes newer DACs in a similar price range seem like toys.

This particular unit has two sets of RCA outputs, one transformer-coupled, the other capacitive-coupled.

I did not write these reviews, but I concur...  Worth reading if interested.
