Spatial adds social media presence

I hope everyone is staying healthy and happy during what I know has been a challenging time for many. We couldn’t be more grateful for the excitement and enthusiasm the AudioCircle community, the press, and marketplace in general has shown for Spatial. My team and I have been busy building speakers as fast as we can as orders continue to stream in. Again we’re super grateful.

Ours is a labor of love so community is everything. To that end we’ve been busy branching out on social media as well with a new Instagram account and a reestablished presence on facebook. We’d love to have your support and engagement on these platforms. They’re a great way to keep up with us and get your daily dose of all things Spatial. Our new social media accounts are Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Spatial-Audio-Lab-104734454572800, and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/spatial_audio_lab/. Please join us there!

I hope you will continue to post here.  I personally don’t participate in social media at all.  Please, for people like me , continue to keep the community updated through audio circle about new announcements, etc.

Me too. This is as "social" as I get.  :peek:

AudioCircle will remain the primary means of communication, so no worries there. We are just expanding our reach.

I have two kinds of relatives - old ones who insist on puttering around on gigantic Harley's then posting pics of their chubby selves on social media and young ones who think everyone in the world should be fascinated by what they eat so they take food pictures every time they dine and post them on social media. I avoid these relatives, and social media, like the plague.

I think most of us on AC are probably not on social media all that much as we are, face it, older than those that do use social media regularly.  One of the attributes of Spatial OB speakers versus "Dad's speakers" is that they are not Dad's box speakers, therefore they appeal to the next generation.  Which, of course, is a great thing in that we want to interest younger members into this wonderful hobby.

Thank you Clayton for spreading the word to those damn kids!

Hi Gary,

Yeah - I am not on social media either as I don't have the time, but it is important to attract the younger crowd. I have a great guy posting for us on Facebook and Instagram.

I just had a 20 year old from Denver order X5s. I think I had Advents when I was that age. Damn kids !!

We are seeing an emerging interest in 2 channel hifi in the younger crowd now - so that is a great sign going forward.

Best,
Clayton

Kids these days!  It took me until I was 52 before I plunked down 6k on speakers.  At 20 I think I had a boom box in college.
That’s great that there is 2 channel audio interest among the youth.  Hope it continues to flourish.  With the resurgence of vinyl there is still hope.
