SOLD: MG Audio Design 1.5m AG2 RCA interconnect pair in very good used condition. Locking connectors. MG Audio is the company about which Paul McGowan of PS Audio wrote, “I have just never found anything that comes close to the MGs.” PS Audio used MG Audio interconnects in their well-known listening rooms and at audio shows worldwide until last year, when they decided to start selling cables in house and needed a supplier with greater production capacity. I’ve listed links to the MG site and pro reviews below, including one about the history of MG Audio Design (one of the two founding partners, Greg Gaff, the marketing specialist, passed about five years ago, which is why they aren’t better known). The company still exists, but has gone lower key due to the surviving partner/cable builder, Lee Matuszczak, developing arthritis.
AG2 is the current series. The AG2 construction handles the silver content smoothly with a very open, clear, balanced sound bottom to top, one that fits well with high quality systems. It takes a whole lot of money to do better (I know...).
