Hi... my name is Tony. A novice to the audio world although i have enjoyed listening to different music most my life. Have McIntosh MC-1L, Infinity WTLC’s(actually one of my favorites, until stolen from my apartment, Klipsch RP-82, and JBL studio 530’s. Enjoyed Gr-Research upgrade discussions and demos so much that i decided to upgrade a pair of Polk T-50’s i had and still have. Was kinda scary and fun tearing apart these speakers and totally re-working the network... another first for me. I think it turned out pretty well if i do say so myself. Sound very nice and the two passive woofers are really moving now.
Currently finished my cabinet on a pair of XLS Encores, color shifting Galaxy Blue. But thinking of putting that project on hold to pursue a pair of X-Statics! I am in GR, MI but will need help, lots fo help with the cabinet... not enough experience or tools for that kind of work. Help!!
