Bought as a demo cartridge from Audio Classics. I foolishly removed the washi paper thinking it was part of the packaging..ugh. Does NOT effect the performance at all as it is more of a dust catcher.APX 100 hours use mostly b4 my purchase. Comes with original packaging, clear plastic headshell cover,the accessories kit is still sealed. Paper can be replace but Lyra told me it will take 26 weeks because of the Covid situation so it can be done. It's been just sitting here for months as I have several cartridges . Used only with the greatest of care on my VPI Classic 2 table with Classic 3 arm.Easily re-tipped if ever needed at Soundsmith.com. Save a bundle off the MSRP of 2K.

"Dear Gene,
It could be replaced, and I’m sure Lyra would only charge a nominal fee to replace it, but it would have to go back to Japan. The lead time currently is a minimum of 26 weeks as they are so busy right now (all Lyra cartridges are built and serviced by one master craftsman). If you wish to proceed, please let me have the serial number and your shipping address.
