Hello, my introduction

Hello,

I'm a recently retired college professor and mixing/mastering engineer.  I've been involved with audiophilia for 50 years, and am now returning to it, as I have more time available to pursue my interests.  I have used and loved Rogers LS 3/5a speakers more consistently than any others (in many configurations, such as with/without subs, tube amps, transistor, analog sources, digital sources, etc.), but have several other speaker types and electronics, including Merlins, B&W, and some DIY designs.  I'm currently getting interested in open-back designs.
