Hello,

As per site rules I am just saying hello after signing up.
I currently have a speaker system but am considering a headphone set up.

Thank you

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

Most audiophiles way over buy speaker based gear for the given room (too small, poorly shaped, not isolated, not dedicated to allow proper setup or listening when you want), so being cheaper headphones make lots of sense, if you can accept the loss of normal imaging and being confined to headphones.  I did headphones in college (Sennheiser HD424), they were the perfect choice in the dorms.

Greetings,

It's been tough watching the wildfire disaster down there unfold. Best wishes to you and all Australians in recovering from this as quickly as possible.
