Hi all!
Er... Um... So, about me? I'm a music lover and a home theater junkie. The early days of Pro-Logic, Dolby Digital, and DTS are where I cut my teeth. My first full-blown system was a 5.1 setup with Klipsch reference series, a Yamaha dual 8" sub (which I still have and still sounds amazing), and a Pioneer AVR. I'm currently running a 7.1 setup using some of Danny of GR-Research's ...old designs (I don't know if *THAT* old company is a no-no to mention here as it is on AVSForum...

). I love the open baffle designs and the super-wide soundstage they present in my room. They make 2-channel music sound nearly like a multi-channel front stage.
For music, I have a plethora of CDs, vinyls, DVDs (and DVD-A), and SACDs. I'm a computer nerd so most of my CDs have been ripped and are on my media server. I'm digging the new hi-res streaming services though I'm not sure which one to go with yet. Currently, I've been testing out some DACs. I think once the hi-res streaming services get a little more mature, a good streamer with DAC-bypass will be my next purchase.
I'll do a gear run-down at some point with some pictures of the current setup.
Anywho... This is me. I'm around the Atlanta area. Computer nerd, car nut, motorsports fan, music enthusiast (player and appreciation), and cat whisperer.
Hi!
