LCR passive soundbar

Anyone have experience with using these.  Was looking at Goldenear Super Cinema XL, Paradigm Millenia 2, or others.  We have a tough room with a TV over a fireplace and built-ins on either side.  TV is 14' from listening area.  ceilings are 10 foot, room is 14 x 20.  Was going to use in ceiling speakers for surround duty.  Biggest concern is these providing enough power for clear dialog and separation left to right.  Dealers don't have these on display so having to rely on recommendations.  Goldenear has some nice reviews.  other option is an on wall center with bookshelf speakers on the build ins but same concern about a wall mount, thin speaker providing enough oomph. This also doesn't make the wife as happy.  Not looking for the baddest theater room but want to be sure that sound is powerful and clear.  Currently using a Def Tech sound bar with poor results.   Thanks everyone, Mike

I just moved into a new house and am contemplating on-wall passives too. Totem Tribe series intrigue me. I really like Totem speakers, but I haven’t heard the Tribe series. I’m going 2 channel to keep things simple as I don’t get into movies that really rely on multiple channels. Totem makes a 3 channel passive soundbar you might want to look into.

I’m looking for clean sound for non-critical listening music, movies and occasional games.

Phase Technology used to make far and away the best soundbar I have ever heard.  There's a couple on ebay now.  It's as full range as you'll ever get in a soundbar.  Three way 5.25" drivers, dome mids, and dome tweets.  Here's a link:

I have the GoldenEar SuperCinema XL. I think it's ok, but not as great as the hype. I wish I had just gone separates, but I'm mixing 2 channel and a HT in the same small room. I have 4 of the GE ceiling speakers, and 2 rear surrounds to match and it does sound decent as a system.

Thanks Tom,  The Goldenear dealer talked me out of the sound bar idea, Going to go wall mount center with book shelf speakers as the front and ceiling speakers for surround.  Now just need to pick.  Was impressed with the Goldenear bookshelves so leaning that way.
