Which capacitors for an in-line high pass filter?
« on: 4 May 2020, 09:31 pm »
I need to put together an inline hi-pass filter for my NX-Oticas/OB subs.  What brand/type of caps are recommended?  I would need a pair of .022 uF caps to complete the job.  Looking at Sonicraft, I have quite a few options.

These:  http://www.soniccraft.com/product_info.php/miflex-kpcu-0022uf-600vdc-copper-foil-polypaper-in-oil-p-5293

Thanks, I figure Milfex.  Would there be any advantage to using Jupiter caps (about twice the cost)?

I've tried both, the Miflex are better IMO.
