Hey Tyson,
Since you’re familiar with dual OB subs, can you describe how the triple stacks compare?

The biggest thing is that since they are taller, there's less sense of the bass coming from down low in the soundstage.  Of course they can output more volume too, but I never reach the limits of my dual subs in my space so for me it's not a concern.  For others it might be.

Having owned duals, triples and quads, I would say that when you add you get a fuller/more complete bass response, that also ties into the size of your room. A set of duals in a very large room will need to work harder in relation to a pair of triples or quads, the bass will be there just not with the same sense of ease.
