6-channel amps are probably less common than 5 or 7, I would think. I've mentioned the older 6ch rotels in your other thread, there is also an interesting 3-channel amp of that vintage the RB-993, but not very common. In the 5ch amps, RB-985, RMB-1075 and RMB-1095, and I'm not sure what happened after that

Bear in mind that amps that are 20 years old are much more likely to fail/need servicing.

Of course, you can always get as many channels as needed by using multiple stereo amps. Finally, a cheap way to get channels is old AV receivers, the type that have "direct" analog inputs. I used one for a while that was given away for nothing, the amps were still fine, just the processing was obsolete.

Please, can you solve a doubt of mine, I was looking at the Yamaha MX-1000 power amp, and noticed that it have 6 speaker's terminas, but this amp is not described as multi channel..

I noticed that on the manual, a picture is showed how to connect 3 pairs of speakers, so I presume this amp works for switch the listening between 3 pairs of speakers, one pair at time, and not will work  that's correct in a tri-amp situation with a 3 way loudspeakers and active crossover...

that's correct? or it can be used in a tri amplification 3 way loudspeakers situation?

Already checked the info, the MX-1000m, it's a 2 channel amp that can run more than 1 pair of speakers, so no need for you o check

You can use various small Class D amps, usually they are Stereo units, they are inexpensive in Ebay.

Speakers with horns are usually very efficient so a sweet sounding low powered amp will work, the Adcom GFA-535 fits the bill nicely.
The 535 is built like a tank and work forever, a friend is still using my 28 year old GFA-535 every day.
There are always plenty of GFA-535's on eBay to choose from, you should be able to get one (or 3) for $100 each if you take your time.

Old NAD amps work well with horn speakers too.
