Up for sale is a mint condition PS Audio Directstream DAC in Silver. It is a FPGA dac that has continuously received significant upgrades from the wonderful team at PS Audio. Each has increased the performance of the DAC, which has been named a Stereophile Class A+ Recommended Component (
https://www.stereophile.com/content/recommended-components-2019-edition-digital-processors). This unit has the most current firmware, Snowmass 3.06.
As you can tell from the numerous reviews available online, it is nearly universally praised, and that praise has only increased since the release of Snowmass (e.g.,
http://www.audiophilia.com/reviews/2018/12/10/ps-audio-directstreamds-dac-snowmass). It is a warm and detailed DAC that competes with all the big players, as demonstrated by the Stereophile recommendation.
This unit comes with all the stock accessories, plus an installed IsoClean 24k gold plated audiophile fuse ($50). It was a significant upgrade over the stock fuse and outperformed both SR Blue and Furutech fuses in this unit. As you can see in the pictures, the remote is completely untouched, as I used an older remote for the PS Audio PerfectWave DAC I upgraded from.
