i have a rock solid enclosure that i used with an old school 12" subwoofer (Audio Concepts if anyone remembers that brand), the amp just died.
I'd like to upgrade to the Servo Sub kit 2, however, the enclosure is way bigger than recommended, it's about 4 cubic feet.
Could i use that with the Servo Sub kit 2? If not, is there some other configuration that would work with this enclosure?

With HX800XLR3 amplifier, one can drive two drivers with one single amp. It has two Hypex 400WRMS power amplifier modules in one heat sink so that each module independently drives one driver with servo control. The quickguide of the HX800XLR3 amplifier for sealed subs can be found here.

I'll to check with Brian to see if he has any more HX800 amps. If so then yes, you can use that amp and a pair of the SW-12-04 woofers.

Just be sure the box is solid and well braced. These woofers can apply a lot of pressure to the cabinet.

You could also go up to the 15" rythmik driver, which should work in a 4 cu. ft. enclosure.

I'll have to check, but I think I still have two of the SW-12-08 drivers that were designed for sealed box applications. If so then you could use them with the standard A370 amps.

lmk if you have two of the SW-12-08 drivers, if not, i'm ok with the 15" driver, or the HX800XLR3 + two SW12-4 drivers.

Well, I thought I had two of the sealed box 12" woofers left that were 8 ohms, but I guess I don't. I must have sold them.

The best bet would still be going with the 12's. they are faster and more musical than the metal cone 15" woofers.

I'll shoot Brian a message and ask him about the HX800's.

The H600PEQ3 can only work with one 4 ohm driver usually the 15" driver. Rythmik has a HX580 amp they use in their L22 dual 12" which can power 2 4 ohm woofers. You can also send an email to Rythmik through their website and Enrico or Brian will get back to you.
