"New" Stratos Extreme Plus amplifier,
directly from Odyssey Audio, custom tuned by Klaus, with a 20 year warranty.
I purchased a near mint condition Stratos Plus and sent it to Klaus for a full swap out to a Stratos Extreme Plus. The only parts from the original are the main body and speaker terminals. Top plate, face plate, main board, capacitors, transformer, all wiring, power switch, power port... all new.
Here is what it has...
- Red board with all SE board upgrades
- All new off-board caps for a total of 180,000 uF
- All new Groneberg internal wiring / TS Pr. / Quattro Ref.
- The big 850 VA transformer.
- New RCA connectors
- Upgraded internal hook-up wires.
- New front panel
- New LEDs
- New top panel with ventilation.
The amp is currently at Odyssey Audio. When purchased Klaus will send it directly to you, and ask for your power readings to customize the bias settings to your home for optimal performance.
