Sold for $4K - I talked to Lou, the builder, yesterday and he clarified a few things that make these speakers an even better deal than I first thought. So I am changing a few things in the ad to reflect his input. This is a pair of Daedalus Muse Studio speakers. They are gorgeous, WAF is super. They were designed to work in odd or small rooms and still deliver the Daedalus sound. The ports are to the front so they can be placed against a wall. This Studio version uses a crossover from the Athena and is a $2200 option. The crossover also includes an extra upgrade of some Dueland caps. Other options include the outrigger stands and the grill covers (which attach with hidden magnets). These retailed for about $12, 400. In the two years since these were built, Daedalus has developed a new way to mount the mid-range driver as well as using a different tweeter (the original has been discontinued), both of which can be added to these by Daedalus for about $1200. The speakers can be shipped by Fedex Ground - with the 3rd box for the outriggers, shipping should be less than $300, but of course, varies by your location. But I really would prefer someone to come hear them first and see they really are in superb shape. A drive to Shreveport, LA. might be worth it to get something as fine as these and crawfish may still be in season at local restaurants (my treat). Another option is for me to ship these to Daedalus for you to have them upgraded - this should give you a virtually new pair of speakers for half of retail. Price is $4500.
