Specifically, their latest CD, Lift.  My copy has some issues with high pitched scratchiness on  a few tracks that doesn't seem like it would be part of the music.  I was thinking I might have a bad pressing or something.  If anyone else has this CD, I would appreciate if I could ask you would chime in about the quality of your copy rather than me playing Russian roullette and buying another copy for comparison.  I love the band, but my CD copy has some issues.

Specifically Track #10 "Another Me".  Horrible scratchiness on the piano chords.  I have made a burned copy and the sound is still there.

Thanks.

It's sad that many of the recordings these days are flawed not just because they've been recorded incorrectly (too loud) but also because they have all those anti-copy technologies which lower the reproduction quality.

I bought Dido's Life For Rent some months ago to find out that it wasn't exactly audiophile material. An artist like that definitely deserves to have her above average standards.

...And then one just stops to ponder...will I ever really enjoy music that someone has marked off as being flawed. I guess I would have never known if it weren't for that post.

Does anyone know of other albums we should steer clear of?
