The versatility of this unit is just astounding, and so much fun. It is Roon ready. You can stream just about anything through it. I'm a TIDAL guy, and it sounds amazing through the Lyngdorf. It sounds incredible with my Aurender. The biggest surprise for me was how good my analog rig sounded through the HQ analog inputs. Dead quiet, but organic, dynamic, and oh so musical.
So why am I selling? Well, owning the Lyngdorf has been a genuine pleasure and as I was listening to my system yesterday, I was asking myself that same question. But it has taught me something about myself. Even though it is just stellar in every respect, I have found that deep down I am a tube guy, so I will be moving back to tube separates. I guess I enjoy constantly futzing around with my system.
