Anthem AMP-1 tube amplifier. It is powered by EL34 tubes, with 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes in the layout. Rated at 40 watts per channel. Amp is in excellent condtion. There are some minor scratches on the top of the unit, and there are some wear marks on the sides of the front face. Don't know the mfg date, but the serial number is 101294.

The Anthem product line was produced by Sonic Frontiers, International (SFI). SFI was founded by Chris Johnson, who later went on to found Parts Connexion (pcX), which is a supplier of audio parts and components. Many of the former employees of SFI now work for pcX. pcX also provides audio modifications and upgrades to audio equipment. This particular unit was modified by pcX in July of 2008, in what they defined as the SE+ upgrade (Special Edition Plus).

I am the 2nd owner, having purchased this from the estate of another audiophile. Very nice piece of kit. I currently have way too much surplus audio gear, so I am simply looking to trim my quiver a bit.
