This is a seriously cool unit.  It was originally created to add Dolby Digital 5.1 to existing Mac systems when DVD players hit the market, but today it represents the least expensive way to get great McIntosh sound quality in a full featured preamp unit, complete with DAC, source switching, and volume control.  The glass face is as nice as it gets, and the remote is new old stock.  $580 shipped in the USA.
