SOLD

Selling my Neurochrome Mod-86 amplifier. I purchased this from a fellow AC'er. Pictures are from his build. In identical condition to when I purchased it. I am selling as I just upgraded to another amp that has a bit more power for my new speakers.

Asking $500 PayPal FF. Buyer pays actual FedEx ground shipping.

I'd encourage you to read about the amp https://www.neurochrome.com/modulus-86/ (and all of Tom's) on his website. This is a true high-end build too. Lots of attention to detail, immaculate wiring, beautiful case and power switch and Cardas binding posts.

You won't find a better sounding, lower distortion amplifier for anywhere near this price.

This is version 2.2 of this amp, and the builder used Vishay naked ZFoil resistors in the amp.

Wow what a nice build and great deal for someone.  Where are all those people with 92+ db efficient speakers...

Thanks! I've used this amp on a Pair of GR Research Super V (97dB efficient), JBL LSR32 (4 ohm, ~91 dB) and my current Philips FB-1000 (86 dB). Lots of flexibility here and the 40 watts @ 8 Ohms goes a pretty long way.
