Hello,
Have a pair of these that are cosmetically imperfect (some small scratches that are hard to see against the black finish, and the Paradigm logo is missing on one speaker) and functionally INCREDIBLE.
These sound incredible. Due to the nature of active speakers, these have incredibly dynamics, macro and micro both. Amazing resolution. And a killer soundstage. They have a switch to roll-off at 80 Hz., which enhances macro-dynamics as it relieves the (very capable) woofers from low bass, which helps everything.
These are really great. Selling them only as they're too big for my room - I'm using a much smaller pair of NHT 1.5 bookshelf speakers that can't compare sonically (though they're pleasant), but are about half the size. (Attached pictures aren't mine but are representative since they're the same speaker model.) Not shipping as these are large and heavy, sorry! Local pickup in Los Angeles only. (I sometimes travel to San Francisco so that could possibly work as well.)
One caveat, the auto-on seems to not work - I haven't seen them turn off when on auto-on even after an hour. Speakers amplifiers have excellent relays, and so these can be wired to a power switch externally without thumps. Or you can just turn them on when you need them.
