I've come looking for info on AVA (Audio by Van Alstine) preamps. Would like to hear from owners of the FET Valve CF SLR. What have your experiences been? Want to know about the remote. Does anyone have a photo of it? How about upgrades? Are they available?
I hear Frank Van Alstine is the best of the best as far as customer service.
I am comparing it to the VTA (Vacuum Tube Audio) SP14. Any thoughts?
