This beautiful Single Ended Class A MP-401 MK2 is the bigger sibling of the well-regarded MP-301. It shares the clean, simple design -- zero negative feedback -- with premium parts like Vishay Dale, Nichicon, WIMA, etc. The difference is a lot more power and a lot more bulk -- huge transformers ensure clean, tight bass; and it's equipped to handle the demands of KT120 and KT150 tubes. As well as a remote!

24 watt SET amps are not all that common, I'm told, but that's what you get with the KT120s. It is also compatible with KT88 and 6550 tubes for a slightly lower output of 15 watts. (Interestingly, the MK3 version of this amp is a totally different topology -- push/pull AB!)

Cosmetically it is very clean -- no blemish I can see is big enough to show up in a photo. Operationally it has no detectible hum, a smooth volume pot (ALPS), and a clean switch between the three inputs. The KT-120 tubes have about 200 hours on them. The remote is missing but I asked the manufacturer and replacements are available online for about $10.

Original price with the included Tung-Sol KT-120s was $750 +shipping.  Selling for $600

I can also include a pair of brand new "platinum" matched Genelex Gold Lion KT-88 tubes for an additional $100 (cost was $120.)
