Sherwood S-5000II Integrated Amplifier professionally restored by Ken Leonard of Analog Engineering Associates.
http://aeaaudio.com/I purchased this amp in February of 2016 from AEA, recently sent it to Ken for some fine tuning, and received it back about a month ago. All of the amp functions perform as they should with a sweet 32w per side and phono stage built in. This is a Gold Level restoration with special attention paid to the power supply making it dead quiet. This amp is 50+/- years old but all of the insides are new. Due to age the chassis and out sides are a little worn. Please examine all of the pictures carefully and ask as many questions as you want. This amp was recently put up against a few modern designs in the $1.5k - $3k range and sounded better not only to me but the dealer too.

All coupling and bypass caps upgraded to modern "audiophile" polypropylene types
Custom Phono Stage circuitry installed improving sonic performance lowering noise and hum
Power supply upgrade with 200% increase in capacity
Regulated power supply
High capacity surge suppressor added
Individual output tube biasing circuitry added
Bias critically adjusted using a spectrum analyser to minimize odd harmonic content, especially minimizing the 5th, 7th, and 9th harmonics.
