Hello there

Hi, I'm Dave. New to this (apart from listening to a lot of music) but want to learn and make my own stereo system (and hopefully save some dough hehe) thanks for having me!

Welcome Dave!

Feel free to visit the Cheap and Cheerful circle for low cost ideas.

IMO most audiophiles way over spend for the given room (only available certain hours of the day, can't properly set up, poorly shaped/furnished, and/or too small).  I'm fortunate enough to have a study, the shape of which follows the Cardas Golden Cuboid/near-field setup and is well furnished/insulated from the rest of the house (without spending much).  But still wouldn't drop serious coin (everyone has their own idea of what that means) here on an audio system as the room is only 8ft x 13ft x 21ft.
