Help!!
My friend has just built a very nice system including a Plinius 9100, Naim CD 5i, a pair of ACI Sapphire speakers and an ACI Titan II sub. He just received a pair of DH Labs interconnects and wants to hook it all up in this fashion:
Speakers run directly from the binding posts on the back of the Plinius.
Sub run from RCA's from the Plinius pre-outs to the Titan II L and R inputs.
The issue is that when he runs the left channel RCA to the sub all is OK, but when he plugs the right channel RCA into the Plinius pre-out he loses signal to the right binding post for the speakers.
Both of us are pretty new to this hobby, but have exhausted our research options through the product manuals, and other online resources (Plinius told him this should work). Any thoughts as to why this doesn't work, or if there is a better option without running the speakers out of the sub?
