An eBay auction has a JVC boombox going for $600!

I didn't even realize there WAS a holy grail of boomboxes.

Probably collectible value. I used to have an even bigger Sharp boombox back in the early 80's that was "the bomb", with the "ability" to FF or REW to the next/previous song by sensing the silence gap between songs on the tape.
