I have updated my ad to be more concise.

I am selling my Tyler Linbrook Signature monitors (with Seas Millennium drivers and tweeters) that are finished in upgraded rosewood veneer.  The speakers sound superb; however, they are overkill for my setup because I am using them for rear surrounds for my HT setup.   These would shine best as primary speakers in someone's setup.   They have not been driven hard because of minimal use for rear sound effects.

The speakers are excellent condition.  I cannot see a mark on them except for the residue on the bottom of them from the blue dots used to secure them to the plates on the Sound Anchor stands.   I also misplaced the gold metal jumpers that connect the binding two posts together, but I have always ran them bi-wired.  You will need jumpers or bi-wire for these speakers.  The unused grill covers are included in the sale.

The speakers retailed for $3,500 and I am asking $1,500 $1,350.  They are available to ship at the buyer’s expense or for local pick up next to Monterey.  Figure $175 to $250 for shipping depending on your location.  I have sold a few items here at Audiocircle and a lot of items at Audiogon (GregC user).

Frequency response: 35-25k

Impedance: 8-Ohm nominal
Connections: single or bi-wire/amp
Size: 10'w x 15"d x 22'h
Weight: 55 lbs. each (speaker only)

Thanks, the Linbrooks really are furniture grade speakers and sound as good as they look.

I am willing to ship these beauties if someone wants a terrific speaker in their system.

If you are in the area I can audition them for you, or even deliver within a reasonable distance.

Hi, ideally do these need a sub?  Thanks for your time.

GregC

The Tylers are rated down to 35 Hz, and I suspect they go a couple Hz lower.  That is a very good spec for a monitor speaker.

I think the Tylers can be run without a sub, but that is obviously a matter of personal preference.  I prefer monitors blended in with dual subs for my personal setup (for both 2 channel and HT).

In my opinion the best qualities of a good monitor speaker versus full range speakers is imaging and sound stage.

Surprisingly the speakers are still available despite a lot of interest.

I pulled the speakers off the Sound Anchor Stands and the blue dots took off some finish in the corners on the bottom of the speakers.  Should not be a problem if they are on stands, but I wanted to make sure there is full disclosure.   I will knock off $150 off my asking price so my new asking price is $1,350.

These are still available and can be shipped if necessary.   The grills are as new and have never been used.
