Ed Meitner designed PA6 preamp with excellent MM phono stage. Includes the wired remote and power supply.This deluxe optioned model has the wired remote controller for phono, tuner, aux/cd, tape, phase and mute along with balance and volume. It has dual sets of outputs as well. Each of the inputs has variable input levels adjustable by trim pots.the phono stage can be used for cartridges with 1.2 mV or greater; in short all MM's and high output moving coils. The removable modular board has user adjustments for gain, resistive load and capacitance as shown. Quality parts throughout - WIMA, Tiffany RCA's etc. Cosmetic condition is very good with one small mark on the top panel and slight wear on the rosewood veneer. The preamp was fully serviced this year by a ticketed electronics tech. Services included checking for cold solder joints, testing all functions and refreshing the small bypass caps with Nichicon PM's and a pair of Nichicon KT for the main supply bypass. The original film caps were retained.There is virtually nothing left to do.Comparison photo attached- more available.
