My BP17c came today (finally!)   So I'l be changing out my BP-6C for the 17 over this weekend.
Rest of my system is 4BSST2 driving Thiel 2.7s and a SS2.2. BCD-3 spinner and a Magnum Dynalab FM tuner.
Extensive Classical CD RedBook collection.     No Streaming!!
Congratulations! Please let us know what you think about the preamp after you have had some time to listen to the BP17.

Jeesh. I just bought another preamp. I could not resist. Saw it and decided in a minute YES I want. Now I will own seven* preamps. I am a preamp addict. I had ZERO plan to buy the moment before I saw it.  :thumb:
What did I just buy? "Threshold FET 10 plus phono" Always wanted one. Now it is on the way.
The pluses? One owner. Includes phono box (separates)refurbished by respected dude. looks immaculate, and has upgraded power supply. Good price.(rather not say price)
Can't wait to hear it!
Main and always in use: Bryston BP-26 with Bystson BP 1.5 phono
Audio Research SP-15 (includes built in 3 tube phono)
Conrad Johnson ACT2
VAC Standard ( currently not working, need to get repaired)
Audible Illusions M3A (includes built in 2 tube phono)
Onkyo Grand Integra P309 (includes phono)
And new Threshold FET10 includes separate SS phono box

Lucky for me a few days ago I saw a nice Infinity RS 1a for sale. I almost bought it. Problem is I have no place to put the four box monster speaker system. I would need to acquire two more amps to play it. The bass would get me evicted... Plus the logistics of moving it. (not in MY car!) Rational sensibility took over and stopped me. Even though I would love to own them.

added: sorry I just need to save this and have no idea how other than to add it somewhere. LOL
FET10p info:
Setting up the FET-10/PC:
As for setting up the impedance and capacitance loading - with the top open and the front of the preamplifier facing you, locate the two red 8 position dip switches on the far left side. If a dip switch is set to the left, it is ON. If it switched to the right, it is OFF.

Resistance Loading:
#1 - 22 ohms
#2 - 47 ohms
#3 - 100 ohms
#4 - 1,000 ohms

1-4 OFF = 47k ohms (ie, MM cartridge)

Capacitance Loading:
#5 - 1,000 picofards
#6 - 250 picofarads
#7 - 150 picofarads
#8 - 100 picofarads

5-8 OFF = 50 picofarads
To set the gain, locate the two jumper sliders on the middle left of the board. These are colored blue and each cover two pins of a three gold plated prong.

For highest gain, each jumper slide is positioned towards the center of the preamplifer. In this case the exposed pins are those nearest to the front and back of the preamplifier.

For 20dB less gain, the jumpers are located away from each other and toward the back and front of the preamplifier. The exposed pins will be nearest to the center of the preamplifier.

Nice work Elizabeth!  :thumb:
How does that SP-15 pair with your 4BSST2?
