Help with my SE-40
« on: 5 Mar 2018, 11:24 pm »
Hello,

Thanks for the welcome :D

Need some help with mod my GTA SE-40, i noticed that sonic craft mod kits are out of stock.Could someone give me some of the basic essentials to get this thing up and running halfway decent. Just need some recommended resistor  wattage and replacement for the bridge Rectifier, the caps i think i can figure out.

Here is a pic of the board i am working on. obviously the resister next to C 10 needs to be changed but i want to get it in a good working and reliable condition before i put in the new tubes.

If it is just a mater of being patient and doing a search after i have enough posts than i can wait :(

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

I suggest you PM AC member Jeff (Sonic Craft).

There are "standard" reliability and sound improvement mods for the SE40 that have been proven over the last 2 decades. This is the Yahoo group for information and guidance.
