I just purchased a Harmony Ultimate Home remote (saw it at Costco at what looked like a very good price). I took it home and ran through the basic setup procedures. I immediately ran into issues and wondered if anybody was familiar with this thing or knew of a good resource for asking questions (I'll try AVS next - just don't like it there as much).
First thing is that this APPEARS to be an RF only remote. No IR. I have my DirecTV receiver set up in a location that is difficult for an IR to hit (that's why I have it set up for IR). If I run one of Harmony's "IR blaster"'s from the hub to where it hits the DirecTV box, the cord is too short

. If I move the hub to where one blaster can reach the DirecTV, I have to place the other "blaster" someplace where that cord would be too short.

(not to mention I now have more cords running all over the place)
Also, Harmony appears to assume that everybody wants all of the setup done automatically - if it works, great. But if it doesn't work, the automatic troubleshooting system is limited.
I expected to be ably to manually tell the system everything I had, how it was connected, and how I want it turned on. Instead, somewhere in the setup process for my Roku box, it didn't allow for powering on the TV, and now I can't add it in the editing process - not an available device to add.

I figure I need to learn a bit more about the thing, but my gut reaction right now is to return everything to Costco.
